What I really can't figure out is why this would happen so suddenly when it worked so well for so long.
#How to scan wifi channels mac 10.9.5 pro#
Has this happened to anyone else? The MacBook Pro is running 10.9.5 if that's any help. plist files (.plist as well as one or two others that I can't recall at the moment) and restarted the MacBook Pro but nothing's made a bit of difference and I'm running out of ideas here. The Airport Extreme is running firmware 7.6.4, which I just updated it to in the hopes that maybe the new firmware would fix the problem, but it hasn't. It's getting very frustrating because I need to have wifi access for work purposes. I've reboot the Mac and the router but nothing's made a difference. The MacBook Pro that I have sees the network but keeps telling me it's unable to connect, even though I know I'm using the right password and it has been able to connect to this network in the past. It started when I couldn't get an iPad to connect to the network and now I can only get one Mac (a late-2010 MacBook Air) and one phone (a Nexus 6) to connect to the wireless network. I have had the same network running for a very long time (same password, same hardware, etc), at least a year or more, and have never had this problem.

I think I'm posting this in the right forum (as opposed to the networking forum) because it's all involving Macs and iPads and an Airport Express.
